Christians (the Church) need to show God's love within the Body of Christ in order for God to work through to invade humanity. How can the world take the church seriously if the very thing that we profess to show them (the LOVE of God) is not evident amongst ourselves from Christian to Christian, Church to Church or from Denomination to Denomination. The whole of humanity is watching and what they see in the church (God's people) will determine what they believe about our Saviour Jesus Christ and our God.
To Love (God's Way) is to Give
God loved us so much that He gave His only Son. So what does it mean to Love one another? Jesus said that the world will know that we belong to Him by the way we treat each other John 13:34-35, in other words, how we live together.
Jesus tells us to LOVE GOD and LOVE EACH OTHER. If we follow just these two commands, all of the commandments hang from them. Matthew 22:38-40
These are some questions that should come out of operating in the love of God - this is LOVE in action
